I fell in love with print and pattern design in this program. I’m a prolific doodler and I always have pens and a sketchbook on me. This unit opened my eyes to the possibilities of incorporating my fine arts background and love of illustration into fashion design. I think one of my best works to date is my “Snowy Egret” tossed pattern inspired by the tradition of Aloha prints and the flora and fauna of the Everglades.
